The Dish For Spring 2009 Is Out

Recommended Posts

For those of you interested at all in Fiesta ware or other Homer Laughlin China, the Homer Laughlin China Collector's Association is a great group, which also publishes an outstanding quarterly newsletter named The Dish.

I received mine in the mail last week, and this particular issue is another great issue. They are printed in full color on glossy paper, and its just a flood of fantastic photographs. The article "Tablescape Extravaganza" over forty carefully laid out color pictures of dining table arrangements using Fiesta, and other HLC china like Nautilus and Harlequin.

Want to see a Valentine's Day tablesetting with red? Or a St. Patricks's Day tablesetting with lots of shamrock green? An Easter table? There's even a cute settling titled "My first Fiesta tea party."

The level of detail and photographic skills is astonishing.

Also in this issue is a detailed essay on Homer Laughlin's Priscilla Eggshell Nautilus pattern and an essay on one of the company's original famous travelling salesmen, George Washington Clarke.

Join HLCCA and as a member you will receive issues of the Dish every four months in your mailbox.
