Frankhoma Tumbler "80c"

Recommended Posts

I have five green prarie tumblers with the marking "80C" on the bottom. I read that the brown/gold tumbler with the same marking is scarce. Does anyone know if that also applies to the green ones? Need to price them to sell.

The 80C 9-ounce tumblers were all made between 1942 and 1954, therefore, all are made of Ada clay. Book value is $15-25. Prairie Green and Desert Gold are among the most commonly found Frankoma glazes, but I do not know if either glaze is considered to be rare on the 80C. Perhaps one of our fellow Frankomaphiles can help us out here.
