Strawser Spring Auction Date Set

Recommended Posts

The Strawser Spring Fiesta Auction will be held on Saturday, April 21, beginning at 10 a.m. The actual location of the auction is the LaGrange County Fairgrounds, 2 miles east of LaGrange, Indiana, on US 20 to CR 200 E, then north 3/4 mile to CR 75 N, then west to Fairgrounds. Those fortunate enough to attend in person can begin previewing the items at 8 a.m.

Don't worry if you can't attend in person because the auction will also run on eBay Live Auctions. Online previewing will be available, and early and absentee bids will be accepted.

You can view the entire catalog on the Strawser website at Strawser Auction Group. Just click on Auction Calendar, select Fiesta Auction, and select the Catalog tab. The page is set up to enable viewing of each of the catalog items; however, this link does not appear to be working at the moment. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

If you have never participated in or viewed an online live auction, I recommend the experience. It's very exciting. And the twice-annual Strawser auctions are amazingly good. It's almost all vintage Fiesta of exceptional quality. Here is their description of the items:

I have been talking with Mr. Strawser. He is planning on a summer Fiesta auction. The date is not set but is planned for June. Making the live auction as a vacation destination would be fun.
