Halloween At The Hatchery Set For Oct. 26

Recommended Posts

ATHENS—The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center will host the annual Halloween at the Hatchery the evening of Thursday, October 26.

Local businesses and organizations will hand out free candy, and the center will be decorated throughout with a Halloween theme.

The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is expected to attract about 3,000 people.

Halloween at the Hatchery is TFFC’s way of giving East Texas families a safe place to go trick-or-treating while raising money for local causes. Proceeds from the $1 general admission fee will go to the Rainbow Room of Henderson County and the Henderson County Humane Society. Trinity Valley Community College Drama Department students will create and staff a haunted house in the Anglers Pavilion. The $1 admission charge to the haunted house will benefit the TVCC Drama Department.

Decorations for the event are made possible by sponsor donations. A partial list of sponsors for Halloween at the Hatchery as of press time included Attorney’s Title Company; Citizens State Bank; Dallas Manufacturing Company, Inc.; Echols Real Estate Associates, LLC.; Elliott Chevrolet; First State Bank; Foster, Foster & Dowlearn, DDS; Peggy and Bob Gould; Gulf Shore Tel-Com; Hearn Surveying Associates; McDonald’s; Joe Mike Murphy, DDS; Santelli Chiropractic Clinic; Steve Grant Real Estate; Stewart Real Estate; Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Walker Plumbing Supply Company; and Wal-Mart Supercenter Athens.

Parking will be available in the main TFFC parking lot and in the overflow parking area on Peninsula Point Road. Parents with children in strollers are requested to use the main parking lot.

For more information, call TFFC at (903) 676-2277.

Awesome party. I saw the pictures and its fantastic, so many people went to that party and also all the contributions that they made to do it. I have some questions about this:

Are you planing to do this again?

Do you have some attractions or areas for little children?

Do we have to bring something to this party?

Please let me know.
