Frankoma Kachina Room Mudhead Coffee Cups

Recommended Posts

This question has been driving my family crazy. My mother and I both have a couple of Frankoma Kachina Room Coffee Cups. They both have the "mudhead" design on them. We cannot figure out WHERE the Kachina Room was located. Can anyone share a brief (or not so brief if you have the time) history of these mugs? Also, were there any plates, or other pottery items made for the Kachina Room besides these coffee mugs?

Thanks for your time and attention to this posting!

You might try contacting www.frankoma.org. Donna Frank replied to an email I sent the club asking about a piece. I believe she's still Secretary of the club.

Kachina Room, hm-m... most likely a bar/restaurant in Tulsa. Probably went out of business 40 years ago. Anyway, it could be anywhere, I have pieces from Iowa to Louisiana.

Good luck,

Debra
