Is The Fiestaware I Bought Really Fiestaware?

Recommended Posts

I bought a few boxes of "alleged" Fiestaware today from an acquaintance who told me it had been her aunts and days back to the1930's. I have done some research on line and not sure what i have is the real deal. I bought six 9.5 inch plates that look likeFiesta but are not marked at all. Many are this really bright orange. Did HL make a 9.5 inch plate in the fiesta line and were some plates not marked?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Estuary Chick:

If your Fiesta is from that era, it's "VIntage Fiesta". As a rule, these dishes will have a backstamp identifying them as Fiesta. They will also have a wet foot and sagger pin marks.

Check out our page on identifying Fiesta.
