Frankoma Serva-tray

Recommended Posts

That's a really nice piece, and yours looks to be in excellent condition. It's the #36 Serva-Tray w/Stand, and it was made from 1955 to 1964, which would make it Sapulpa clay. Yours has the Prairie Green glaze. The Gary Schaum book (Collector's Guide to Frankoma Pottery) places a value of $45-75 on this piece. (It sold for $7.50 in the 1964 catalog.) This piece, like most of the ash trays and accessory pieces, was not part of any of the dinnerware lines. I'd hang on to it if I were you, because I think it will increase in value not only because it's Frankoma, but because it has such a wonderful retro look to it. Congratulations on your Frankoma find!
