Unglazed Frankoma Pottery- Help?!

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just bought a bunch of pieces from someone who had attended the Frankoma auction last year. I teach art and thought students could complete some of these as a design project.

I am an absolute newbie when it comes to pottery. Does anyone have any experience glazing bisque Frankoma? What types of glaze would work best? My students and I thank you for any information you are willing to give! Thank you so much!!!

Cheryl

I would suggest talking to Ann at Ceramic Cottage in Tulsa. There are many different glazes and she can direct you to glazes which are compatible with Frankoma bisque as well as the recommended firing temperatures.
