Galveston Island Thanks Tourists

Recommended Posts

From: Galveston Island Convention & Visitors Bureau

Here in Galveston, we realize that visitors have many choices when considering where they will go on vacation, and we just want to say “Thanks” for choosing us. During National Tourism Week, May 10-18, we would like to express our sincere gratitude by pampering guests with our lavish royal (“Very Important Person”) service.

Galveston Island Convention and Visitors Bureau will celebrate NTW by offering every 100th visitor--- entering the Seawall Visitors Center, an attraction VIP pass (admits two) along with an overstuffed gift bag: including a special bookmark produced in conjunction with the Travel Industry Association and a copy of the BRAND NEW Official Visitors Guide to Galveston.

The VIP passes admit two guests--- free of charge--- to explore attractions such as: the 1859 Ashton Villa, The Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, Dellanera RV Park-beach parking only, East Beach, Galveston County Historical Museum, Galveston Harbour Tours, Galveston Island Outdoor Musicals, Galveston Island Railroad Museum, Grand 1894 Opera House-tour only, The Great Storm, Gulf Greyhound Park, Lone Star Flight Museum, Mardi Gras Museum, 1838 Menard Home, Moody Mansion, NOAA/Fisheries Sea Turtle Facility, Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig/Museum, Texas Seaport Museum, Tall Ship ELISSA, Treasure Isle Tour Train, Strand Theater, Seawolf Park---parking only, plus Stewart Beach.

The friendly GICVB staff will treat them like the VIP’s that they are. All guests should understand that whether they are the 100th visitor or not, they will always be considered royalty to us here in Galveston. We want to thank each one of them for visiting Galveston and invite them back soon. We’ll be right here waiting.
