Cups And Saucers

i just got 4 cups and four saucers...they are marked 92c on the cups ...no # on the saucers...the only # i find for them is 92e...but i wonder about the value of the saucers...maybe also made only around 1942 also...there are also carved drawings on 2 of the cups...maybe indian scenes..maybe oriental...could it have been carved by almost anybody at the factory? the saucers are inscribed frankoma on back...thanks

A picture would be very helpful. I'm assuming that you have cups marked 92c but which also have hand carvings on them? That would be very unusual. Depending on the nature of the carvings, it could increase or decrease the value.

In general, though, very few Frankoma dinnerware pieces are very valuable.

I went back to check values - and I'm going to have to change my response. Your dishes appear to be the exception to the 'Frankoma dinnerware isn't valuable' rule. If you have 92c cups, they are listed as $45-50 each in value without any markings. The saucer 92e is not listed, but if other patterns are any guide, the saucers are probably worth a little less (for comparison, wagon wheel 94c cups are $4.50-8.00 and 94e saucers are $3.50-6.50. Westwind 6c cups are $3.50-5.00 and 6e saucers are $3.00-4.50).

cant get pics from storage to you ...sorry...but thanks for info...the saucers i saw referred to but no pics...the one cup has a windmill on it ...thte other cup has steps leading up to a house...thx again
