Help Finding Information On Pottery

Recommended Posts

A few months ago my grandmother passed and when we went to her house to separate out all her stuff I was only looking for sentimental items. The only thing I really wanted was this ash tray that she had on her coffee table as long as I can remember. It is a red-orange indian and it says Roman Nose state park on one side and Watonga Oklahoma on the other side. I didn't even realize it was frankoma until the other day when my mother in law was looking at it. I am interested if there is any information on this out there. Thanks everyone!!

Can you post a photo of this ashtray? Or a link to a photo? I am not familiar with this piece, as you describe it, but it may be a specialty piece Frankoma did for the park service. A photo would be nice just to see if it was created in part from a Frankoma mold.
