Athens Man Catches 10.16-Lb. Bass At Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center

Recommended Posts

Colton Seeton, 19, of Athens spends most days working as a flagger on a highway construction crew in East Texas. On his days off he likes to fish. On Saturday, April 17, he tried his luck in the 1.5-acre stocked fishing pond at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens—and caught a new lake record 10.16-pound largemouth bass.

Seeton was back fishing at TFFC on Tuesday.

Look for him the next time you have to stop for highway construction in East Texas. He’ll be the flagger with the big smile on his face.
