I use coupons for things that I'm going to buy anyway. Unfortunately, many coupons are promotions for new products that I'm not interested in. And lots of coupons are for junk food and highly processed food, and I'm not interested in them either. But when I get a "good one," I use it.

Sure. That's a good idea. And while this isn't necessarily groceries, CVS Drug Stores have a neat program. They scan your card whenever you make a purchase, and you "earn" coupons from it. They "remember" what you buy, and some of the coupons are for those same items. And some of the coupons get tossed in the trash. But some are cash value coupons -- like $10 and $20 -- which is great!
