  1. You cannot get more Southern than spending an afternoon cooking a big pot of fresh green beans, round new potatoes and some salt pork in the Dutch oven.   2. That which we call rose. By any other name would it look as sweet? To help us ponder this question allow me to present Homer Laughlin's just-released company brochure heralding their new Fiesta color for 2012, which they unveiled today at the International Housewares Show in Chicago, IL. So what do you guys think? Obviously the hues may be off in this image reproduction, but the first thing I thought when I saw this was they've revived the discontinued line of Rose Fiesta.
