We do ours a little different, but the taste is wonderful too! Instead of Ketchup we add regular yellow mustard and we don't add the green pepper.

The mix of mustard and the brown sugar is wonderful. You just have to play with the amounts. My problem with the way I make stuff is I don't measure anything and am usually full by the time dinner is served from trying and adding stuff.

I do my baked beans about the same, but add a little mustard and half the brown sugar, but add dark molasses. They are thick and very good.
