Come on out to Grapevine, Texas, invite your family and friends, have a good time, and sample great chili, all for a better cause: the 5th annual Stop-Drop-n-Roll Chili Cook-Off. On October 24, 2009 , Bass Pro Shops will partner with the WPI Firefighters' Fund (WPIFF) to present a Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI)-sanctioned chili cook-off for the fifth year in a row. All proceeds go to the WPIFF, a non-profit organization that has provided over $730,000 in grants to injured firefighters, the suffering families of injured or fallen firefighters, and to volunteer fire departments for life-saving equipment.

This year, we promise even more award-winning chili and frenzied excitement: with opportunities to win fancy auction prizes, taste savory chili, and mingle with special guests and beauty queens, you can’t afford to miss out. Admission is FREE!! You can even register as a chili team, sign up as a volunteer, exhibit your products as a vendor, or become a sponsor. What are you waiting for? Visit www.wpiff.org to obtain more information.
